London !

It's been a few weeks since I last blogged but I've so busy working! 

 Good news though, I've finally got my first lot of work experience in LONDON!

I have just spent the last two days in London working with an amazing celebrity stylist doing a number of jobs; including styling a shoot for Lusso magazine - Amazing!

It has been the best two days of my life and i am hoping there is going to be a lot more to come. London was amazing is defiantly the place to be to be a stylist so i will certainly be back.

As always I've been spending again .. I went to Cheshire Oaks last week and grabbed my self some amazing bargains, I was quite impressed!

I bought this gorgeous top from the warehouse at Cheshire Oaks for a sale price of £23, however if you go online or in your normal warehouse store you will still find this top at the full price of £40, Bargain or what? This is a gorgeous blouse for a sunny day, paired with some pale blue skinny jeans and a pair of sandal's or why not have a night out and pair it with a pair of high waisted leather shorts and killer shoes!

Another gorgeous top from warehouse which is now also on sale in all warehouse stores for £17 so go and grab yourself one before they sell out!! I wasn't 100% sure about this top when i first seen it but tried it on and LOVED it. I was expecting it to look baggy and give no shape to my body, but instead it done the complete opposite and sat in all the right places.

This was my favourite bargain that i grabbed at Cheshire oaks. These gorgeous leather shorts are so flattering when they are on and are so comfy. I paid just £10 for them and they are still £70 on the high street - now if that's not a bargain then i don't know what is!

The second i seen these shoes i just had to have them, especially when i seen the price drop! These are so comfy and will be perfect to wear through the summer. They are also perfect for any outfit, whether it be dressed up or casual they look great either way. You can also get these in red and purple, Fabulous!

I have been after a gorgeous pair of wedges for the summer and loved these as soon as i seen them. They are so comfortable and the colour will go with almost anything. I got these from littlewoods with an extra 30% of the sale price for a bargain of £72, they where originally £145 and they are still available now for £79 so go and grab your self a summer essential!

Flower Power

When you’re trying to find the right look this season you will find that floral prints are everywhere you go. Due to the abundance of digital print technology that we now have, floral prints have moved onto another level and have taken over the fashion world. With the technology that we have today flowers have been genetically modified and digitally enhanced from the versions of their former selves to create the look we all want!

With this being a high trend this season you will find some of the most amazing floral pieces on the runway such as; Givenchy’s stereoscopic zoom blooms, Mary Katrantzou’s technicolour flower fields and Ashish who created a different look for his blooms by adding signature sequins to his petals. Also blossoming on the runaway is Stella McCartney who turned to hyping up the traditional Hawaiian prints giving her new designs an amazing kaleidoscopic effect; then we have the famous Roberto Cavalli had wowed the runaway’s with his petal power cocktail dresses and kaftans.

Whats You Body Shape?

Do you go out and just buy the clothes that you like the look of but for some reason they never seem to look right on you? or do you avoid buying new clothes because you find it such a struggle to find an outfit that you feel good in? 

If so why not figure out your body shape...

If you know your body shape and know what shape and style of clothing is perfect for you then it can make shopping so much easier and keep you looking gorgeous!!

You could have a wardrobe full of amazing and expensive garments but if they don't suit your body then they will never look as good.

So what body shape are you?

It so quick and easy just grab yourself a tape measure...

Now you need to measure 5 places; across your bust, across the underbust, your waist, your hips and then finally your mid thigh.

Pear

If your body shape is Pear then this means that your hips and thighs are the largest measurement. If this is your body shape then you have more than likely got quite a small bust, a flat stomach, long waist and heavy legs.

Apple

If your body shape is Apple then the measurements of your bust and your hips will be similar then your underbust and waist will have very little difference. If this is your body shape then you will probably have an average size bust with a larger tummy and a flat bum.

Hourglass

If your body shape is Hourglass then your largest measurements will be your bust and your hips and compared to these measurements your waist will be quite small. If you have this body shape then you will have a large bust, small waist, big hips and generous thighs.

Slim Athletic

If your body shape is slim athletic then all of your measurements will be fairly the same for all areas. If this is you body shape then you will have a slight waist and longer legs.

Petite

If you are petite then you can have any of the above measurements, however you will have broad shoulders and will be small in height.

I'm Back!

I'm back, I haven't blogged for a while I've been so busy doing assignments and working. 

I have not been too busy to do a little bit of shopping though! So here's some of my latest buys..

It can be worn with so many different garments to create a number of different outfits; what about a pair of black high waisted shorts, leather jacket and boots to go for the rock chick edge or how about a pair of jeans and a blazer for a more casual look. You could also try wearing it with a skater skirt and a pair of gorgeous heels. Accessorize with heavy bold jewellery or with something as simple as a small pendent necklace. There are so many option for this top.Basically this top is a piece that I can wear over and over again, each time looking different.

To go formal i paired it with a high wasted pencil skirt and then turned it casual by wearing it with a long black vest, leggings and boots.

Grammy Award's 2012

Its one off the biggest music events off the year and with some of the most famous faces of music walking the red carpet, who managed to stun the world with their gorgeous gowns and who shocked with their wild outrageous looks?

As well as stunning the world with her amazing vocals (that won her 6 Grammys this year!!), Adele also wowed us all as she stepped on to the red carpet showing off her new slimmer figure in this gorgeous figure hugging black dress that showed off her new curves perfectly.

Others who owned the Red carpet last night were .... 

Carrie Underwood who appeared in this gorgeous and eye catching Gomez-Gracia backless Gown which featured intricately embroidered sequins.

I have to say that this has to be my favourite dress of the evening and I think it looks absolutely stunning on Carrie. I love the colour of the dress and i am a big fan of embroidered clothing. This dress looks so elegant and i love how every sequin catches the light!

    

 Taylor Swift wowed when she walked onto the red carpet in a very glamorous figure hugging Zuhair Murad gown. This was Taylor's first of two outfits as she later changed into a more country girl dress for her performance.

I think this dress is perfect for Taylor's gorgeous slim figure and she looked so elegant as she graced the red carpet.

Kelly Rowland looked stunning as she posed on the red carpet in this beautiful nude Alberta Ferretti Dress which was perfectly detailed with a silver floral pattern on the bust.

Kelly has the body many of us would love to have, slim and VERY toned. She pulled this dress off so well with the perfect accessories to match. 

Not wowing quite so much on the red carpet this year was Nicki Minaj, Fergie and Victoria secrets model Annie V. 

 

Fergie wore an eye catching orange Jean Paul Gaultier lace gown, however she seemed to of forgotten to put something underneath.

 Victoria Secrets Model Annie V appeared on the red carpet slightly under dressed!

and last but not least Nicki Minaj, or should i say little red riding hood, turned up in a very large over sized red embroidered gown. She certainly stood out from the crowd however maybe not for a good reason?
